The use environment of electric hoist

The electric hoist for general purpose can be used in the range of -20℃~+30℃. It is not suitable for use in the gas environment with explosion hazard or acid and alkali. It cannot be used to transport molten liquid metal and other flammable and inflammable gas, explosive items. If you need to use the electric hoist in these special working conditions, please use the corresponding specially designed electric hoist.

Whether the electric hoist can be used correctly and reasonably is an important factor to ensure the normal operation of the electric hoist and prolong its service life. Pay attention to the following issues when using electric hoist:

  • Don't overload
  • Regularly lubricate the parts specified in the product description.
  • Although the axial displacement of the motor has been adjusted to about 1.5mm before leaving the factory, it will increase with the friction of the brake ring during use. The brake is adjusted. However, after several adjustments, it is necessary to replace with a new one to ensure braking safety.

Precautions for the use of electric hoist

A. Check work before use

  • There should be no obstacles and floating objects in the walking range of the operator, the line of sight, and the route through which heavy objects pass.
  • The hand control buttons should move accurately and sensitively in the up and down and left and right directions, and the motor and reducer should have no abnormal sound.
  • The brake should be sensitive and reliable.
  • There should be no foreign matter on the running track of the electric hoist.
  • The movement of the upper and lower limiter should be accurate and sensitive.
  • The hook stop nut should be fastened firmly.
  • The hook should be flexible to rotate in the horizontal and vertical directions.
  • The hook pulley should rotate flexibly.
  • The steel wire rope should have no obvious cracks, be neatly arranged on the drum, and show no signs of disengagement of the pulley groove, random twisting, overlapping buckles, etc., and good lubrication.
  • There is no abnormal phenomenon in lifting aids.
  • The working environment temperature of the electric hoist is -25～+40℃
  • Electric hoist is not suitable for places full of corrosive gas or relative humidity is greater than 85%. It cannot replace explosion-proof hoist, and it is not suitable to lift molten metal or toxic, flammable and explosive materials.

B. The electric hoist shall not be lifted and unloaded from the side, and overloaded use is prohibited.

C. During use, the operator should always check whether the wire rope has random buckles, knots, grooves, wear, etc. If it occurs, it should be eliminated in time, and the rope guide and limit switch should be checked frequently for safety and reliability.

D. Do not artificially use the stopper to stop the lifting of heavy objects or stop the operation of the equipment in daily work.

E. After finishing the work, turn off the main power switch and cut off the main power supply.

F. Special maintenance personnel should be assigned to check the main performance and safety status of the electric hoist once a week, and troubleshoot the fault in time.
