Yuantai Crane participated in every Canton Fair since 2015 118th Canton Fair. While meeting old friends at the exhibition, we also made many new friends and many stories happened. The 5 ton electric hoist case we share today was started at 125th Canton Fair in Guangzhou.

We met the Vietnam customer at the exhibition, he was looking for new electric hoist for his steel mill. As you know, overhead cranes are used very frequently in steel plants, whether it’s single girder overhead crane or double girder overhead crane. One of his single girder overhead cranes was break down, he had to replace the electric hoist to resume normal production.

We talked about his detailed electric hoist request as below:

  • Lifting capacity: 5 ton
  • Lifting height: 35m / 42m (two options)
  • Voltage: 380V 50Hz 3Phase
  • Control method: pendant control and remote control
  • Lifting speed: 4.7 m/min (normal lifting speed is 8m/min)

When we got all the details, our team designed the customized hoist and sent him our detailed hoist quotation. The customer was satisfied with our hoist price and solution and told us we just need to ship the hoist to Guangdong, he had other goods imported together. We quote him FOB Guangzhou price again. The Vietnam client made a payment and finished the hoist order.

He installed the electric hoist on his existing single girder overhead crane and was satisfied after using it. So, he recommended his friend who also need the electric hoist to us.
