What is Cantilever Gantry Crane?

What is the cantilever of the gantry crane?

The span is the center-to-center distance between the traveling rails of the gantry crane. The part of the main beam that hangs out of the span is called the cantilever of the gantry crane. In layman's terms, it is the part of the main beam of the gantry crane beyond the width of the travelling rails, which is the cantilever of the gantry crane.

Cantilever gantry crane has at least one cantilever, left or right, or both. Most of the cantilever gantry cranes are used outdoors, of course, there are a small number of them used indoors.
